Reguram Arumugaperumal, postdoc
Reguram obtained a BSc in Chemistry from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU, India) and a MSc in Chemistry from Bharathiar University (India). He received a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in supramolecular chemistry from National Chiao Tung University (ROC, Taiwan) in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Hong Cheu-Lin. He then moved to the research group of Prof. Wen Sheng Chung at National Chiao Tung University (ROC, Taiwan) before joining the group in 2022.

Dattatraya Ukale (Datta), postdoc
Datta received his Bachelor and Master degree from the University of Pune (India). Subsequently, he worked at Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd, University of Pune, and CSIR-NCL Pune. He earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Turku (Finland) in metal-mediated base pairing in nucleic acids under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Tuomas Lönnberg. Prior to joining the Cougnon Lab, he did short-term postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford (UK) with Prof. Ben Davis on metal-mediated bioconjugations of nucleic acids

Andrei Beliaev, postdoc
Andrei received a Specialist degree in Inorganic Chemistry with Prof. S. P. Tunik from the Saint-Petersburg State University (Russia) in 2015 and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Eastern Finland (Finland) in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Igor O. Koshevoy. He further stayed two years in the group of Prof. Andreas Steffen, Technical University of Dortmund (Dortmund, Germany) exploring phosphorescent transition metal carbene complexes. In July 2022, he started his journey at the NSC with the groups of Ass. Prof. Fabien Cougnon and Dr. Tatu Kumpulainen on a project entitled “Nanoscopic entities generating fast triplet emission for optronics”.

Dimitri Delcourt, PhD student
After two years at the University of Montpellier (France) and one year at Université du Québec À Chicoutimi (Canada), Dimitri obtained a BSc in Chemistry of Natural Products in 2019. He obtained a MSc in Chemistry of Natural Products in 2021 at the University of Limoges (France). He joined the group for his MSc internship at the National University of Ireland Galway (Ireland) in 2021.

Alice Gable, PhD student
Alice earned a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg (France) in 2020. During this time, she spent one year at the University of Nagoya (Japan) as an international student (NUPACE program). Then she began a MSc in Molecular and Supramolecular Chemistry in Strasbourg. She did a six-month research internship in the group of Prof. Christoph Schalley at the Freie Universität Berlin (Germany) before joining the group in 2022.

Max Perlot, Master’s student
Max got his BSc in Biology and Environment Chemistry from the University of Limoges (France). He is currently finishing a MSc in Chemistry of Natural Products at the same university. He has previously worked on the elaboration of ligands capable to chelate copper(I) in the context of Alzheimer disease at the Coordination Chemistry Lab LCC in Toulouse (France). He has joined the group in 2023 for a 6-month MSc internship.
